Leaf’s Own Rugby Champion!

Sam Wilson from Leaf Technologies Durban Sales Team recently traveled to Johannesburg for the Senior Interprovincial Touch Rugby Tournament.  The Ladies Team advanced to the finals where they were to take on Western Province for the fourth year running.  Western Province had won all three of the previous clashes, so the girls from KZN were determined to break the streak and take home gold.

Play was briefly called off at half time due to dangerous conditions caused by lightning and hail, with the score at 1 – 1. When play finally resumed Natal managed to hang onto the ball and score two tries while only conceding one to Western Province. The girls from the East Coast claimed Gold!
