The Sharks saw their second loss of the season on Saturday, 25 April 2014 – shocking both fans and players alike – with a final score of 18-34 to The Highlanders. The loss has taken its toll on the team as coach Jake White urged the importance of a win throughout the week leading into the match.

With the loss of a few of their crucial team players, including Bismarck du Plessis, The Sharks definitely saw a trying and tough game before the start of the match.
