  2. What’s your role at Leaf? Sales Executive at Leaf Pinetown
  3. What is the most rewarding part of the job? Commission
  4. And the most challenging? Trying to get the commission
  5. Describe your sales/work philosophy? Offer a great product with the best service I can and never rip anyone off, it will always come back to bite you.
  6. What 3 words describe you? Majestic, Extroverted, Real
  7. If I asked your customers to describe you, what three words would they use? I’d like to think they would say helpful, concerned and diligent
  8. What keeps you motivated? A long term goal
  9. What is one thing you cannot resist? Carbs
  10. Where is your favourite place to be? Around loved ones
  11. What is your favourite thing to do? Eat carbs with loved ones
  12. How do you define success? Waking up every morning and going to bed every night happy

  15. Tell us something that might surprise us about you? My first girlfriend left me because I was too shy and I couldn’t speak to strangers

Meet The Team! Rodney Hornsveld

  1. How long have you been with Leaf? On and off for approximately 13 years.
  2. What’s your role at Leaf? Sales Manager for Copiers and Solutions at Leaf Durban.
  3. What is the most rewarding part of the job? Seeing happy facing once a deal has been signed.
  4. And the most challenging? Motivating people after the loss of a sale.
  5. Describe your sales/work philosophy? Work hard, play harder and give your all.
  6. What 3 words describe you? Fun; sporty and soft-hearted
  7. If I asked your customers to describe you, what three words would they use? Profesional; polite and motivated
  8. What keeps you motivated? Money and wanting to be the best.
  9. What is one thing you cannot resist? Sport
  10. Where is your favourite place to be? In the sea
  11. What is your favourite thing to do? Golf
  12. How do you define success? Being holistically happy at work and at home.
  13. If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be? Golf Professional
  14. What is the weirdest job you have ever had? Not sure about weirdest but worst was having to dive in a septic tank to clean the blockages out.
  15. Tell us something that might surprise us about you? I’m a very shy person at heart.

Leaf Technologies has the following vacancies at their Durban branch:
 
1. Copier/printer technician with strong IT skills. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license. Previous Kyocera and RISO experience is an advantage. Salary will be negotiated based on experience
 
2. PABX technician with VOIP experience. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license. Previous Panasonic/Siemens experience an advantage. Salary will be negotiated based on experience
 
3. Call centre consultant for a busy service department. The applicant must be computer literate, have previous call centre experience and be able to work in a highly pressurised environment. Good telephone manner is a must, as is fluent English. Ability to speak Zulu and Afrikaans is an advantage. Salary will be negotiated based on experience

  3. What is the most rewarding part of the job? Meeting new people, building relationships and helping where I can.
  4. And the most challenging?  Dealing with customers who have been cheated by opposition companies.
  5. Describe your sales/work philosophy? For every NO you get, you get closer to the next Sale!
  6. What 3 words describe you? Energetic, Determined, Self-disciplined
  7. If I asked your customers to describe you, what three words would they use? Friendly, Helpful, Trusted
  8. What keeps you motivated? Knowing there is always room for improvement.
  9. What is one thing you cannot resist? Good food! The only way into a mans heart is his stomach
  10. Where is your favourite place to be? In the gym or training somewhere
  11. What is your favourite thing to do? Playing rugby
  12. How do you define success? Success is not a destination, it is the essesnce of a balanced life
  13. If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be? Chriopratic, I have my Doctors degree
  14. What is the weirdest job you have ever had? Telesales, impersonal, corporate chaos
  15. Tell us something that might surprise us about you? I am a very hard worker and a quick study, before you know it ill be passing you while you’re stopping to look around.
