Duties and Responsibilities:
Managing the front of the house for the Durban Branch, ensuring the environment is well organised and neat
Greeting and assisting walk-in clients and customers
Performing basic reception functions
Managing a switchboard, taking and relaying accurate messages.
Liaising with clients telephonically in a professional manner to promote business relationships
Assisting with basic office administration as required
Managing documents and ensuring that the sales team have the required documentation available
Performing ad-hoc tasks for management as required
Skills and Requirements
Experience in an administrative or reception role
Excellent communication skills
Good knowledge of full MS Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Attention to detail

KYOCERA Document Solutions South Africa has moved into first position in the overall South African copier and multifunction printer (MFP) market in the second quarter of 2018 with a 15.5% share of unit shipments for the period. This is according to new numbers from Infosource and indicates that KYOCERA’s focus on delivering vertical solutions that address companies’ pain points is paying off.
For the first half of calendar 2018, we ranked second in the overall South African copier and MFP market, growing unit shipments by around 30.8% year-on-year. This growth is particularly noteworthy in a difficult market where South African copier and MFP shipments dipped 4.5% when comparing the first half of 2018 to the same period in 2017.
We performed particularly well overall in the colour copiers and MFPs in the first half of the year and increased unit shipments by 35.5% and claimed 12.5% market share for the same period. In the mono copier and MFP market, KYOCERA achieved 18.6% market share and took first place.
Thanks to the effort of our staff and partners, we were in first position in A4 copiers and MFPs in the first half of the year, with a market share of 24.1%, and also recorded strong growth in A3 copiers and MFPs, increasing product shipments in this category by around 12.4%. Our growth in A3 colour copiers and MFPs was especially impressive, with unit shipments rising by nearly 33%.
We have seen growing traction in A3 colour segments throughout 2017 and the first half of 2018. The colour range continues to gain significant market share, highlighting the improvements of the new generation devices with regards to quality, colour clarity and functionality.
KYOCERA’s A4 MFP’s regained overall position 1 in the first half of 2018, with strong performance in both colour and mono devices. The new products continue to showcase our ability to manage the evolving needs of print services. Our focus will be to strengthen the security function we offer.
